SOMATHEERAM-the enchanting beauty











Somatheeram is a unique Holiday resort .Even the season ends in kovalam it is never ending in Somatheeram-a perfect blend of nature with sea.In this part of the world we feel the earth is tranqulized. It is a mini-cosmos of Kerala, flaunting the richest specimens of its architecture, sculpture and Somatheeram is also a perfect hideway far from mass tourism .It is Nine kilometers south of the renowned Kovalam Beach and 21 Kilometers from the state capital Trivandrum. The pristine charms of nature in its primordial best, wedded to the elagance of a resort – Somatheeram is a fascinating haunt.




I spend my wholeday admiring the beauty of somatheeram during my christmas holidays.here r some of that moments

one day at Calicut




I had a full day enjoyment in Calicut on last saturday,14th of this month.I started from perinthalmanna at 13th night and reached my wife's sister house at 7'0 clock.There her sister was waiting with a delicious supper that I had never before.look at picture and try to identify the cuisines I had.I will send u recipies.Next day we had a nice shopping at FOCUS mall and evening we spend at Beach.Night we had food from Paragon,a famous hotel near bridge to beach- my favourite pallappam with Fish moly and prawn fry.I didn't miss the milk sharbath from the famous sharbath shop near paragon.

walking-The best Excercise

How is your health?
when this question is raised people will say "o.k".what is this ok .Are u satisfied with this ok.If so leave this blog .If not there r some tips for ur Good health.
1.If u r a smoker leave cigar and take a menthol cigar for one month
2.If u r a heavy drinker drink passion fruit squash(350ml) along with vodka(150ml) for three consecutive days .
3.If u r a beaf eater stop that and take lamb once in week(not more than 300gm).

Now u r free from addictions.Then what to do?
Listen u can do wonders when u find WALKING-the only one excercise which can keep ur body fit.
woke up at 5'oclock in the morning.do all the morning business(except bathing).get ready with a loose cotton shirt or T-shirt and cotton Pyjamas or walk suit along with a pair of walking shoes.Then walk atleast 4km on a level road.put ur hands free and walk in a 2feet distance(ie distance between legs) up to 1km.Then next 1km with hands in maximum stretch position(towards front and back).this 2km u have to cover within 12 minutes,Then turn back and walk in a slow manner ie time up to 18 minutes to reach position where u started.
Take a towel ,wipe sweat and have a cup of tea(light) and take bath only after half an hour.
If u walk like this everyday u will feel the difference in ur day to day activities.
NB:If u r unable to walk a day u can go for two options
1.get down at ur nearest bus stand that is atleast 1km away from ur point and walk towards ur destination.
2.U can go to market near ur house and purchase households and walk back.don't take auto or taxi which will spoil ur 15 days walk by imbibing carbondioxide in to ur lungs.

walking will relieve u from stress and tensions.
It decreases chance of highB.P,Diabetes,lipid problems,skin diseases.
It increases vital capacity and Oxygen demand and increses flow of blood and oxygen to brain .so memmory and quick thinking capacity can be increased.
